[Pokemon Awesome Version]

Awesome... almost

Your pikachu's level is over 9000! That gets me ever time. But seriously, the flash is pretty good. Apart from some seriously terrible voice acting at times, and some really badly animated lip-syncing, the jokes went over pretty well.

Intro=Great, Rest=Terrible.

The Intro was amazing. I didn't even notice that you listed your name about 20 times, the cool animation effects took my eyes completely off it. But the resulting animation was terribly disappointing. Even with my severe lack of Japanese knowledge, anyone could tell that the story was poorly made, and i couldn't read anything so it was impossible to get the joke. It's needless to say that the potential is there; BECAUSE IT IS. Just put some more effort into your work, and translation please.

It was so freaking repetitive... but for an animation testing lip-syncing, it was okay. The flash was pretty well made. I have to admit, before the song started you were about 1.3 seconds away from a 1 (1.3 secs is the average time for a human to press a button, btw), but the presentation was good, the animation was good (for a kawaii girl thingy), and plus you put a bit of actionscript to show the mouth used in frames. I'm guessing you put the mouth movie-clip inside the movie-clip for the face so that it would stay in the same position, then used actionscript to call out the different mouths? I don't know, I'm new to actionscript anyway. Good job in all, sorry I wrote so much, I have a tendency to babble on... (kinda like this...) anyway, Kudos.

Thanks. It's a shame that 1.3 seconds is the average time for someone to press "Blam this piece of crap!", but what can you do? Once it's pressed, it's pressed.

You were pretty close with the guess. What I did was create a single movie clip with 6 shoulder shuffles, each with different mouths. Then I used the actionscript to read frames 1-20 (move) within that movie clip using one variable, then used face# x 20 (mouth) + (move) for the lipsync.

(0*20) + (1->20) = None (1-20)
(1*20) + (1->20) = TeethGrin (21-40)
...and so on :D

Pretty awesome!

It loops though. I have to agree with everything that everyone else has already said... The voice sync was bad, (like when she chops off his hand he screams, but his mouth isn't open). The voices are good, but there's no background music... its rather odd and too silent, so the people just talk and it doesn't sound normal.
The backgrounds were pretty cool, the drawings too, until ... but sometimes the motions (in drawings) just don't look life like, there are too many examples, but like when she draws the sword for the first time, you can see that the hand is odd at the bottom, or when the 1st man falls down, but the motion looks good, like when the man is shaking to draw his sword and such.
Anyway, good job. The story was good, and not badly presented. I liked the way you explained everything at the end. Good job.

Blown away...

Literally. The concept is just... amazing. And the theme song, absolutely BRILLIANT. I also liked the way you mixed up the political parties and gave them even MORE awesome flags. The only downside is that I felt that the characters didn't change at all, everyone was seen from exactly the same position every time. But it was still a beautiful designed piece of work. Kudos.

Ok I guess

This is a old fable right? Or smth, I can't really remember... nice work on the graphics, but I don't think this was the best of topics to animate about. The lack of sound effects made it rather odd, and the funny parts didn't come out as really funny. Good graphics, lacking sound effects. Nice work on your first try, hope to see more.
'And btw KeiKuzco, if you look closely, there is a vine around the tree which connects to the grapes. Duh.'

This settles this argument perfectly. Even for those people who say Mario couldn't be killed in one hit, Sonic is essentially too fast to be even touched by any other attack. And true, in video games they try to limit the powers of the characters so it would be a fair fight but in real life Sonic is TOO FREAKING FAST. Kudos, your animation deserves more praise.

Nice one.

The drawings were pretty awesome, but the presentation was boring. Personally, I think if you showed the kid/person whatever trying to submit one of those stupid *ick joke animations (appropriately named stupid *ick joke) and then the Gandalf clip played saying "You shall NOT PASS!" then laser, it would have been much funnier, and also alot of people (including myself) would have liked it better. The random fist and laser seemed a bit confusing and rushed.
Just thinking, this could be a nice idea if you plan to redo this animation. You most certainly have to potential to pull off something great that will get you perhaps a frontpage. Kudos.

Thanks man, good points, i learned a lot from this movie about how flash works and stuff, so hopefully the next movies will be better, i'll keep in mind your suggestions for the update of this movie!

(Slight SPOILER ALERT)
At first, my expression was like; chibi characters? This wouldn't be scary at all... I was expecting a super-realistic movie but the chibi kind of waved that off so I took you're suggestion and got my earphones. The first scene was... interesting. The second was extremely creepy... I actually was forced to take off my earphones because I knew I'll get too frightened, then she just flies into the train... eurgh. I was lucky that I anticipated the credits one otherwise I would have leaped out of my chair. Good work, good work. You got me good. Kudos, man.
