Lols~

Same old animation as always, but great jokes. At least from my side.
The 'How all slashers should end' was incredible. Couldn't stop laughing, because its all true, I mean, why plague a bunch of harmless teenagers with a superhuman non-motivated beast? I think its because of that 'can kill you but you cant do anything about it' factor, but that gets boring. Plus the ring one was awesome too, classic Scooby-doo chase, and great ending, even though I didn't get the last one. I agree, people are unimaginative when coming up with kills..... but I think the graphics really does take away from this animation. At least the lip-syncing. Kudos anyway.

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Righto, thank you for your comments.

The last joke is kind of an injoke, so don't worry about it.

Seems interesting.

Time travel and paradoxes are hard things to work with, but I think you can pull it off. Indie games are the best because their artists put so much work into it, and I hope you do the same.
-Story - I was happy that this didn't seem to be the old recycled stories that you see nowadays, that you put work into this. The character seems interesting, and so does the setting. I like the fact you eluded to the fact you'll have to hide to not create time paradoxes, that seems like an interesting piece of gameplay that everyone forgets and combines the perfect action and sneak game. The fact that a single person can control time without an outside influence is odd, but can be overlooked.
-Gameplay - Not quite so happy with the fact that you haven't given us any gameplay footage. I can't really judge how far you are or what it will look like without anything to look at.
Lastly, I will suggest changing the name. Its just, too overused, you think of giant explored planets and other random fantasy stuff with the word Genesis... And the name doesn't quite fit the game.
Its a great idea though, would much prefer seeing it in action. Sry cant donate, not allowed to use my money ]:<

UknownXL responds:

Thanks for the feedback. It looks like you have done your homework and read over a lot of the information I have. I thank you for that. Currently we just have some sample game play stuff, but I do not want to reveal it in its unfinished form. Ive heard from alot of people that I should change the name and I think im going to take in that advice. Ive started to think about other names and am completely open to suggestions.

lols, but not good enough

Nice little clip, but too little. It last little more than a couple of seconds, and there's no way of going back to look over it again (really, I tried everything except refresh, what code did you put in there???) I know you're a beginner, but here are a couple (actually a lot of things) you can improve to help with your animation.
1. Dont be disappointed by the low score. Its actually pretty good.
2. You definitely could have done more with this. I know you don't have the skills to be messing around with all kinds of stuff, but in the interest of time, you could have drawn out the summoning sequence and what happened before to get a lot more suspense in. I can imagine 30s, or even 1min with this.
3. You have to experiment with your mouse and the pencil, I saw a lot of lines and circles but no free hand. It looks odd. You should also experiment with the brush too, it works better in places.
4. The atmosphere could have been done better, it should have been dark, stormy, windy, etc. The background is a little bright for this purpose, and the music (although its good), is more foresty than dark magicy.
I should really commend you on the idea, it was ingenious. I mean, why are people always summoning giant monsters when they could summon pizza instead? Or money? Or both??? It seems pointless, so good for thinking that.

NaiKujibo responds:

Thanks for the input, I made this as a class project so forgive the length and lack of detail.

The idea came to me as a "hey what if there was a complicated ritual to something silly?" kind of idea. The music and the background were due to the silliness, but now that you mention it, a darker background would add to the effect.

Lol~

Can I believe that I missed this-
Still an improvement over the last, I think its also nice we have what we can call villains now- The jokes are as great as always, Aisan is as unpredictable as always.
Still slightly bothered with the art, but with such great humor who cares? More time could have been taken on it though, but not too much that it'll take away from the comedic simplicity...
Regardless, can't wait for the next. Kudos~~~ (I like tildes)

PParreira responds:

thanks man =)
so the white skin bothers ya huh?
(not insinuating anything lol)

The Epic of the Gamer.

Gunblade! I just noticed it after like 200+ views!
Neglected to review earlier, but the 750+ reviews tell the tale.
After all, I never remember how I saved the world, (or why...?) but the epic adventures and completely useless sidequests I did in between.
That's why I aim to be a game programmer. Thanks for the audio to inspire me.

Double Thumbs up!

A disappointing low score for a great animation. Great drawing style, animation style, and awesome music. The concept was very nicely portrayed, I liked how everything was inverse in the beginning, and the colour transition was a very good choice. Another thing to point out is how fluid your animation is, your characters act/look very realistic instead of going through robot like movements.
The music was awesome too, very rarely do people animate and make their own music, so its almost ridiculous that you could do both. GD job, Kudos~

Awesome movies again-

Love the way the new hero is a literal cheerleader.
I still think there's the same problem as last time though, the background music is too plain, you know, it doesn't speed up when the battle starts, or anything like that...
But that aside, its still a great series, can't wait to see how it ends...

nahtanojmal responds:

Mmmm..... true. Maybe I should utilise the audio portal more...
Thanks for your encouragement and review

Awesome!

Made me laugh in more than a couple of places. Only thing I'll complain about is the timing, there's no time inbetween the clips for the joke to sink in and give the time to laugh. Slow it down by... about .2 seconds?

Um...

A very nice story you've got there. The writing and voice acting was beautiful (gd job to EyesAdrift), very good story and quite a match for your character. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same for the art though. Although the actual art is fine, apart from the gritty backgrounds and characters, its the animation that gets me... Tweening different body parts looks good in some places (like the beginning), but it is far overused and sometimes becomes anatomically impossible (like the girl near the end bending her elbow... somewhere) although the animation (like the jump out the window) is really smooth and realistic.
The flash was... disappointingly short though... I really wanted to see more... for a teaser it works but I don't think it would qualify for an episode, but i can't wait until you expand on this. Hopefully it would give you a chance to improve your animation style. Kudos.

Pretty lazy. Don't expect too much from me.
